The Surface Method was founded by Kate Bolton, a licensed medical aesthetician with hands-on experience in clinical skincare. After years of working with clients one-on-one, Kate noticed a gap: the professional-grade products that actually move the needle on skin health were only available through spas and clinics — not to everyday people who wanted to take their skincare seriously at home.
That gap is what The Surface Method was built to close. Every product in the shop is hand-selected from four trusted professional lines — Circadia, GlyMed Plus, Image Skincare, and Skin Script — and chosen specifically for clinical efficacy, clean formulation, and real results across all skin types and concerns.
This isn't a curated Amazon storefront. Every order is reviewed by Kate personally before it ships, and the AI skin analysis tool was built to think the way a licensed aesthetician thinks — looking at your full picture, not just your skin type.
