Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to love every product you receive from The Surface Method. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help.
Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In the original packaging with all seals intact
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used skincare products (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Items marked as "Final Sale"
- Gift cards
- Products purchased through a third-party retailer (contact that retailer directly)
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at thesurfacestandard@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at thesurfacestandard@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return
- We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return authorization
- Ship the item back to the address provided, using a trackable shipping method
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you by email that your return has been received and approved or rejected
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Processing time may vary depending on your bank or card issuer
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange unopened products for a different item of equal or lesser value within 30 days of delivery. If you would like a different product, please indicate this when initiating your return. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Consultation Services
Skincare consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance through your Calendly booking link.
